31st International Congress of The Transplantation Society (TTS 2026) | Sydney, Australia | September 20-23, 2026
Innovation through Collaboration
Visas & Entry to Australia
All international participants are responsible for arranging their own visas to enter Australia. The TTS 2026 Organizers are unable to provide individual immigration advice or guarantee visa outcomes.
Visa requirements depend on your passport country, whether you will be paid, and the nature of your participation.
Congress Invitation Letters
A Congress Invitation Letter is not required to obtain an Australian visa. Once registration is complete and registration fees are paid in full, a confirmation of registration or tax invoice is sufficient to support a visa application. Registration will open in March.
In general:
Delegates and unpaid speakers may be eligible for visitor visas (including ETA, eVisitor, or Visitor visa - Business stream)
Exhibitors working at the Congress may require a Temporary Activity (subclass 408) or Temporary Work (subclass 400) visa
International media and government representatives may have specific visa pathways
Participants should consult the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs for the most up-to-date and authoritative information:
